Product description
Flame-Proof IM-XTree is a safe and user-friendly liquid for flame retardant impregnation of Christmas trees.

Flame-Proof IM-XTree contains a hard drying transparent coating, which prevents leaching of the flame retardant.

Treatment method
Flame-Proof IM-XTree can be applied by means of spraying at a pressure of between 3 and 5 bar, or by dipping. In the case of spraying the liquid must be finely atomised and be applied from a distance of about 20 cm.

An additional advantage is the insulating effect of the coating to the Christmas tree. The tree will retain its moisture longer, which means that the tree is less likely to dry out and thus remains green for longer. Needles will fall out less quickly.

Consumption is approximately 1 to 1.5 liters per tree of +/- 3 meters. Consumption depends on the type of tree to treat. Trees differ in weight and branches and these differences determine the amount of product to be used.

Spills should be removed immediately as this can cause stains, so do not let it dry!

Testing and test reports
Has been tested by TNO on the Norway spruce (Picea Abies), the blue spruce (Picea Pungens "Glanca") and Nordman (Abies Nordmanniana).
Has been tested at the Laboratory ISSEP Liège.
These tree species are tested at BELTEST Zwijnaarde in accordance with EN ISO 6941 (2003).

The conclusion according to analytical report 43013 / E: treatment with Flame-Proof IM-XTree shows little or no spread of fire during the test.

European Fire Reaction Rating

The fire reaction of a construction product is the totality of properties can influence the start and development of a fire. The fire reaction rating system is described in European standard NBN EN 13501-1. Seven main classes are defined (A1, A2, B, C, D, E and F) with two additional indications for smoke development (s1, s2 and s3) and the formation of burning drops and particles (d0, d1 and d2). ). Classes A1 and A2 apply to non-flammable products (eg concrete, steel, etc.), while class F applies to non-classified products or products that failed the least severe class E test.
