Delivery date: 1-2 days
€16.94

Product description
Flame-Proof IM-Wood Plus is specially developed for flame retardant impregnation of wooden floors, stairs, MDF

Treatment method
Flame-Proof IM-Wood Plus can be applied by means of spraying at a pressure between 3 and 5 bar, or by dipping. In the case of spraying the liquid must be finely atomised be applied from a distance of about 20 cm. In the case of dipping the timber must be immersed approximately 10 minutes in the fluid.

With 1 liter Flame-Proof IM-Wood Plus 3 to 6 m2 wood can be treated. This depends on the type of wood. We recommend always to impregnate a sample to get an idea of the absorption capacity and the expected end result.

Testing and test reports
Flame-Proof IM-Wood Plus has been tested (in 2014) at Warrington Fire (Ghent) on a parquet floor. The product meets the strict European standard (for floors). The fire behavior (reaction to fire) was tested and "Bfl-s1" is the result. This is the best possible result.

European Fire Reaction Rating

The fire reaction of a construction product is the totality of properties can influence the start and development of a fire. The fire reaction rating system is described in European standard NBN EN 13501-1. Seven main classes are defined (A1, A2, B, C, D, E and F) with two additional indications for smoke development (s1, s2 and s3) and the formation of burning drops and particles (d0, d1 and d2). ). Classes A1 and A2 apply to non-flammable products (eg concrete, steel, etc.), while class F applies to non-classified products or products that failed the least severe class E test.
